Today Christianity is in crisis. Crisis caused by wrong theology, lack of complete Biblical worldview, wrong priorities and not on a last place strives within the church. We cannot be perfect in the history but this does not give us the right to stay still and not starting rebuild the ruins.  

If this is true for the whole world so we can say that in Bulgaria it is worse. Since the time of falling of the communism the most active missionaries come to Bulgaria were Charismatic ones. Unfortunately they brought with them all pessimistic and weak theology. Instead of giving the Christians hope and victory they offered pessimism and defeat. The theologians call it premillennialism. Instead of teaching them how to exercise dominion over the creation using God’s Law as a tool they taught them to despise it because if you keep the God’s Law this would bring you under curse!? The theologians call it Antinomianism. So, we will not have enough place here to describe all the heresy that have been taught among the Christian like the rapture that will take place every moment; Christ coming back to rule 1000 literal years on the earth setting up an earthly kingdom and till that time the church will become weaker and weaker; the upcoming great tribulation; the possibility to lose your salvation; dualism; personal Antichrist coming to rule over the whole world and etc.

This could be fine if all of this stuff dose not have any practical consequences. Unfortunately, it does. For 20 years you can see the real fruits of this theology. The Christians in Bulgaria are one of the weakest people. They do not have long time plans (graduating university, starting own business and etc.) actually they have never make any because … rapture will take place every moment.  They are weakest because running away from the Law it brings them under God's wrath. Instead of exercising dominion they prefer to stay every day in the church because …. they could lose their salvation.

How can we start to rebuild the ruins?

1. We must start with rebuilding the true covenantal worship in the church. Singing the psalms, taking the Lord’s Supper each Sunday, uncompromising preaching of God’s Word, applying the church discipline, infant baptism, paedocomunion and the tithe are topics that continue to be ignored. Why then we wonder that no one respect the church today.  

2. To develop complete Biblical worldview. When the Christian reject God’s Law as a guide in the present world they convert themselves in a people of “third class”. In this area the foundations has been already laid. Many practical books have been translated in Bulgarian showing the practical application of the Gospel in areas like economy, education, politics, philosophy and etc.

We are а church in Bulgaria, which with God’s help is seeking to come back to the centrality of the covenant in the worship (liturgy) as simultaneously developing complete Biblical worldview. May God keep us away to say: “Our power and the might of our hand has gotten us all of  this” (Deu 8:17).

With the present site we will try if God wills to encourage you to come back to the spring of life rebuilding these two areas in human life – worship and dominion. We hope God may have mercy so we serve as an example for you - Hebrews 13:7  Remember those leading you, who have spoken to you the Word of God, whose faith follow, considering the end of their conduct.
